How do I reserve a spot?
A $500 deposit will guarantee you a spot on your chosen escape and a very high likelihood of having the time of your life. We also offer a payment plan option that breaks up the balance into two payments. The remainder of your balance is due 30 days before the date of the trip.
What if I cancel?
You're gonna miss out! Plus, deposits are non-refundable. If you have paid more than the deposit amount, and cancel 30 days or more before the trip, we will refund the amount of your payments minus the deposit and any ground operator charges that cannot be recovered.
If you cancel 30 days or less before the trip date, we are not able to give refunds for any amount, sorry! The lesson here: don't cancel, we're really looking forward to sharing an amazing adventure with you!
Who can come?
All intrepid adventurers who love to have fun are welcome to join us! You can sign up alone or with your lover, friend, neighbor, platonic friend, bff, etc.
I'll be traveling alone. Is that weird?
Well ... Just kidding! It's absolutely not weird! We like to think of our travelers as one big family. You'll be joining a tribe of people who share a love for adventure, crave deeper connections, and have open minds. And when it's over, you'll return home with lifelong friends and some seriously good vibes. (Did we mention the included photo album as well?)
How big are the groups?
We cap the group size at 10 travelers to keep it cozy and also nonintrusive for the locals at our destinations.
Do you offer private tours?
We most certainly do! We will tailor make a trip just for you and your travel squad. Send us a message here for more information.
Where will we stay?
We will stay at independently-owned hotels, and from time-to-time, at vibrant local guesthouses. Details will be on the itinerary for each trip and you will be fully informed of the accommodation style prior to booking. Rooms are based on double occupancy. If you are traveling solo, we will assign you a roomie of the same gender and will put you in contact with each other before the trip.
What's the travel insurance about?
Travel insurance is required for each traveler. It may be the only way to recover monies lost due to delayed flights, etc. World Nomads is reliable and offers very affordable travel insurance.
Isn't it cheaper if I go on my own?
Fisheye Journeys collaborates with ground operators to make sure you get the best possible bang for your buck including access to tons of hidden gems you might miss without us. Also, by taking care of the details, we take the hassle out of planning the trip. All you have to worry about is your flight. Plus, we will be there to guide your adventure and provide you with a personal translator. Adventure escapes are much more enjoyable when you can focus on living in the moment without having to stop and reference a guidebook!
